O Baterista Charlie Watts da banda Rolling Stones, morreu nesta terça-feira (24), aos 80 anos. Segundo informação confirmada por Bernard Doherty, agente do músico, ele faleceu em um hospital de Londres, cercado pela família.
No início de agosto, Watts já havia anunciado que ficaria de fora da próxima turnê do Rolling Stones devido a problemas de saúde. Ele havia passado por um procedimento cirúrgico que, apesar de bem-sucedido, levaria um tempo maior de recuperação.
Pelas redes sociais, os fãs e artistas lamentaram a perda do músico e decidiram prestar homenagem a ele. Entre eles os cantores Elton John, Paul McCartney.
